Big Brother for Animals

Polly writes about some potential new rules regarding livestock that could make life really difficult for people who raise their own chickens for food, keep a horse or two, etc.

I don't have any animals except for cats, and don't ever plan to, but I think this is a bad idea and an unnecessary encroachment on the freedom of those who raise animals.

Why am I so reminded Big Ed pushing for tracking and regulation of homeschoolers?
